University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations

University of Cambridge Certificates are among the most widely recognized English language examinations in the world. In addition to PET, VanWest offers preparation for Cambridge FCE and CAE examinations. Arrangements can be made for students to take the official exam at the end of their preparation course if they wish. VanWest has an exceptional pass rate for FCE and CAE students.

The curriculum incorporates Listening, Speaking, Writing, and Use of English and is ideal for students who want to learn practical English as it is used by native speakers in professional and university settings. Students learn to effectively distinguish and use formal and informal English, with an emphasis on real-life tasks and situations. All students must successfully pass a pre-test in order to participate in these courses.
